Squash and Brussels sprouts. As a Midwesterner this idea of having actual vegetables at the Thanksgiving dinner spread is foreign to me. Where's all the corn? The brown colored foods, mostly because the brown is tons of gravy on everything? Can I just melt marshmallows all over the veggies?

I need more Christina videos, seriously. Also, I love Claire but really steamrolled over some of Christina’s ideas

Claire totally overran Christina and I don't think they made a very good team. I'd like to see more of Christina in front of the camera too. Pair Claire with Molly or Carla but give Christina more air time. Try placing her with Chris or Priya!

I have to say, this is my least favorite episode of the series. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Claire, she is amazing, and I understand that she is used to running Gourmet Makes, so maybe her instincts to take charge may have kicked in; however, she completely walked all over Christina in this episode. I feel like Christina did not get to put in her creative ideas, and Claire got her way the entire episode. I wish Christina would have voiced her opinions more here, she had some good ones.

Did anyone else notice it said “episode 5: sides” and at the end it said next episode would be “episode 5: pies”

I usually only see Claire on her own or Claire with Brad that I’ve never realised that she has such a strong personality haha. (Or at least strong opinions about things.)

I don’t understand why people are surprised that Claire is getting her way. She has always had that type of personality which is why she is so lovable.

I don’t think Claire was being that bossy, I just think she’s used to running her own show and explaining everything narratively, and took charge because it’s what she’s used to. She’s also usually paired with other chefs like Brad who talk a lot as well.

I don’t think the editing did justice for either Christina or Claire. Christina did speak, it was just later in the episode so it seemed as though Claire took over.
